Job Overview
As a customer acquisition specialist, you’ll be collaborating on all aspects of customer acquisition, pricing, underwriting, product creation, and partner strategy. You will be analyzing digital partnership performance, understand what to target for growth and make better partnership and profitability acquisition and closing decisions for the business.
Strong analytical skills, business sense, and the ability to analyze large amounts of data and come up with clear and actionable recommendations are a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate their partner(s) to determine areas for future growth and profitability.
- Develop and test experiments that will have a positive impact on conversion and business results.
- Create predictions, models, performance information and decision-making tools.
- Develop metrics to gauge the value and effect of partnerships on business.
- Track performance trends and explore unexpected performance or anomalies.
- Share and communicate analytical information with technical and non-technical staff.
- Create runaway analytical processes for informed business decision making.
- Collaborate regularly with cross-functional leaders to address challenges in the business.
Requirements
The candidate needs to have been working at least 3 years with advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or other quantitative related discipline with experience in the application of quantitative methods to business problems.
Competence in statistics, experimentation, causal inference, forecasting or machine learning but not limited to. Candidates are expected to have the knowledge of SQL and Python programming language for data analysis and data modeling skills as well.
Experiences with transforming unclear business enquiries to analytical models and actionable business recommendations ought to be at ease. High level of communication, collaboration, ownership and problem solving are also essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Insurance, Financial Services, Markets, Customer Acquisition, Pricing, Underwriting, Risk and Marketing experience is an asset. Some prior experience in attribution, incrementality measurement, forecasting, optimization, and/or production deployment of machine learning models is helpful.
Salary & Work Location
This position will pay between $119,000 and $148,700, with bonus and equity opportunities.
Root works by the “work where it works best” rule and employees can work from locations nationwide. It still has its headquarters in Columbus, OH.
