Revolution Prep is seeking passionate educators to tutor students as a full-time online faculty member. This is a remote W-2 position working directly with students, guiding them and supporting their academic success and confidence.
As a tutor, you’ll be assisting students with SAT Prep and ACT Prep, as well as high-school level Math through Algebra II. In addition, you may also be providing guidance in organizational skills, time management, planning, and study skills.
What you will do:
- Lead students through online tutoring sessions, using Revolution Prep’s curriculum and resources
- Support their understanding and learning of challenging concepts
- Build their academic and study skills
- Prepare for and conduct sessions using materials provided by Revolution Prep
- Communicate with students and parents
- Participate in paid training and professional development
Schedule Requirements
This position requires a weekly 38 hour time commitment minimum (including evenings and weekends) to students, with a target of 30+ hours per week of tutoring, depending on student needs and expertise.
At least 8 hours per weekend are required (and weekends are generally planned in advance).
Requirements
- degree of a bachelor
- Having worked as a teacher or tutor for at least a year
- Proficiency in Algebra II instruction
- Outstanding presentation and communication abilities, as well as the capacity for autonomous or remote workIt is ideal if you have prior SAT/ACT or prep experience.
Compensation & Benefits
You must be physically present in the United States and have permission to work there.
In addition to paid training and preparation time, health insurance, 401(k) plans, and bonus incentives, our teachers receive a compensation of $25 per hour for tutoring after 90 days of effective instruction. Depending on their subject or subjects of specialisation, they may earn up to $29 per hour.
It will be necessary to set up a home office (computer, internet, etc.); if necessary, a tech kit may be supplied.
