Duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Implementation of policies and procedures of Patient First;
- Providing quality nursing care and creating an atmosphere that is truly warm and friendly for patients and staff;
- Providing nursing care in ambulatory environment to individual patients and families;
- Use of good judgement in provision of medical services and patient screening;
- Provision of medications, knowing dosages, effects, and actions of each one;
- Aiding the physician in handling emergencies;
- Provision of customer service that is positive, warm and friendly;
- Building a team spirit and maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere;
- Performing other assigned tasks.
Education and Professional Requirements:
- Experience in keyboarding;
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
- One year experience in clerical work desirable;
- One year experience in clinical work and medication administration desirable;
- Nursing license in state of Maryland.
- Salary Range: $34.50 – $43.50, depending on experience.
