About the job

Duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Implementation of policies and procedures of Patient First;
  • Providing quality nursing care and creating an atmosphere that is truly warm and friendly for patients and staff;
  • Providing nursing care in ambulatory environment to individual patients and families;
  • Use of good judgement in provision of medical services and patient screening;
  • Provision of medications, knowing dosages, effects, and actions of each one;
  • Aiding the physician in handling emergencies;
  • Provision of customer service that is positive, warm and friendly;
  • Building a team spirit and maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere;
  • Performing other assigned tasks.

Education and Professional Requirements:

  • Experience in keyboarding;
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • One year experience in clerical work desirable;
  • One year experience in clinical work and medication administration desirable;
  • Nursing license in state of Maryland.
  • Salary Range: $34.50 – $43.50, depending on experience.
