Epistemix is looking to recruit a AI Engineer to develop and deploy the “intelligent software” that will make advanced modeling and simulation more accessible for non-data scientists. This position entails both AI engineering, backend development, and problem solving from a product perspective.
You would be contributing to the design and integration of AI-driven applications that enable organizations to efficiently design and implement agent-based models. Key Responsibilities
The AI Engineer will be responsible for:
- Creating stable and sustainable Python based applications that facilitate AI based modeling.
- Development of efficient building systems that enable users as well as data scientists to make agent-based models.
- Creating scalable APIs and backend services for AI applications.
- Ensuring that AI-generated results are tested and validated prior to accessing end users.
- Adopting software development from needs to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborating closely with product and data science, engineering teams.
- Testing new AI technologies and enhancing the whole user experience.
Required Qualifications
Desirable candidates attributes are:
- Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, AI, Data Science or other related fields, or substantial work experience.
- 3+ years of experience of building AI/ML applications for production environments.
- First-hand experience using an LLM, NLP or AI-based system.
- Solid knowledge of Python programming.
- Experience creating scalable APIs using FastAPI.
- Some knowledge of the Python frameworks Pydantic and SQLAlchemy.
- Gain insights into assessing and enhancing LLM-generated results.
- Powerful prompt writing skills and optimization skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
RAG or vector databases experience, Docker, Kubernetes experience, cloud, or MLOps experience is preferred.
