OpenX is hiring for a Data Analyst – Business Intelligence role in their Finance team, where they will play a vital role in helping to make decisions for the business using data. Due to the nature of this position, the individual will work from home and will be hired on a short-term, part-time, and/or contract basis.This remote position is a great match for an analytical and curious professional who feels comfortable with working with large datasets, creating reports, and turning otherwise complicated information into practical, business insights.
The job will coordinate with numerous groups throughout the company to enhance reporting methods, automate repetitive duties, and give analysis for critical enterprise projects.

What You’ll Do
As a data Analyst, you will be asked to:
- Development of revenue and performance reporting processes within the organization.
- Promoting financial reporting processes automation and improvement.
- Customizing analysis for the various departments and business requirements.
- involving large and complicated datasets in determining helpful trends and insights.
- Analytical support for strategic projects of the company.
- Translating information about data into actionable goals for decision makers.
- Reporting and analyzing for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Supporting augmentation of running processes by using automation and smart data utilization.
Requirements
OpenX has an immediate requirement for candidates who have 1-3 years of experience both in analytics and/or business intelligence, corporate finance, strategic planning or related fields.
Additional qualifications include:
- Bachelor degree in a quantitative subject e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics and related subjects.
- Expert SQL and full Relational Database skills.
- Data Analysis and Clear Conclusive Communication Skills.
- Excellent mathematics skills and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with business reporting and data analysis.
- Very good written and oral communication.
- Interpersonal skills with stakeholder at various levels in an business.
- Excellent outlining and editing skills.
- Knowledge of problem solving and business process enhancement techniques and the capacity to apply those techniques.
Google BigQuery experience, Python, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace experience are plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation range will be between $93,500 and $110,000 per year, depending upon the qualifications for this position and includes potential bonus, equity, and employee benefit opportunities. Compensation is dependent on your experience, skills, certifications or other factors.
