About the Role

BMO Financial Group is looking for a part-time Remote Investment Service Specialist role to assist with professional customer service and account support to active investment clients. This role entails answering questions regarding account issues, financial transactions, customer complaints and the process of getting customers to meet with financial advisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and respond to emails to clients politely.
• Help users create, keep up to date and regenerate account passwords.
• Balance of accounts, transaction information, and investment details.
• Help move assets, buy mutual funds, and other investing need related tasks.
• Help clients on investment platforms in transactions and preparations.
• Record and keep records of client transactions accurately.
• Define inter-agency referrals for financial advisors and bankers.
• React appropriately to customer complaints and service issues.
• Comply with the regulations and compliance policies of the financial industry.

Qualifications

• Two or three years of Financial Planning/Securities or Insurance Customer Service experience.
• Requires active SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 65 and 63) licenses.
• The Series 65 license must be obtained within 6 months of becoming an employee.
• Experience preferred in Finance/economics.
• Understanding of investment products, financial markets and financial planning.
• Effective communication skills, problem-solving, customer service.
• Excellent integrity mark, clean Form U-4.

Salary & Benefits

This is $42,000 to $80,000 per year, and location and qualifications and experience will help determine these salaries. May offer employee benefits, such as life insurance, retirement plans, performance bonuses, health insurance and more for the employee.
