Key Responsibilities
- To teach Quranic concepts as well as Islamic texts & its implementation in daily life
- To educate students with selected Verses of Quran & Tafseer in an understandable way
- To educate the students about Islamic Manners, Ethics & Moral Code
- Use technology and educational tech to create an interactive and effective way of delivering lessons.
- Build a welcoming environment for kids to feel comfortable asking questions and learning.
Student Support and Assessment
- Monitor student’s progress on their academics through their assignment/quiz/test/activity in the.
- Keep record of the attendance as well as progression & development of students.
- Provide the students feedback along with identify areas where more support could be provided to them.
- Volunteer with parents on student progress, concern, and learning objectives.
- Provide spiritual and moral guidance at an appropriate level.
Curriculum & Teamwork
- Contribute to developmental ideas within Islamic Studies and the Quran curriculum.
- Coordinate or attend activities related to values, traditions, and culture rooted in Islam.
- Collaborate with teachers and Academy staff to support the student’s holistic development.
- Participate in the organization and upkeep of the teaching resources, textbooks, workbooks, and digital media.
Desired Qualifications
- Islamic Studies degree from a recognised local university, college, or Islamic Academy.
- Academic or scholarly experiences and studies on Quran & Tafseer, Core Fiqh Texts (Mutoon), Hadith under Qualified Scholars.
- Very strong communication skills in both Written and Verbal English
- Comfortable with Technology for Lesson Preparation and Online Teaching
- Proficiency in working with children to create a positive and respectful learning environment.
